no, they never even looked at my truck, they did look prety close at most of the other cars though, another time when the sleeper effect helped me out i think. i took out my gauge pod even so it really looks stock now.

same thing happend around here awhile back, but worse. they boxed everyone in brought news crews patty wagons and lots of tow trucks. they had mechanics looking at anyones car that looked modified, the took about 15 minors in the patty wagon impounded about 10 cars. ahhh good times
I pretty sure it doesent matter even if you have the bottle closed. i got pulled over in my bagged truck and i had a 2200 psi nitrogen bottle in my bed with no cap on it, cop thought it was a nitrous bottle
made me open up my hood and was looking for nitrous on my motor made me take my air cleaner and everything. he had no idea that the nitrogen in the back was more dangerous then the nitrous ever could have been.

Ive always heard its legal to have it plumbed up, but you cannot have the bottle open on the street. I guess thats one time a remote bottle opener would help out.
And they would do some of that stuff around here. Box everyone in, check cars etc. But then almost all the business on the hangout route passed tresspassing after hours stuff so basically anyone on the property after hours was getting a one night stay downtown. Gay as hell, but what can ya do...

we have the same thing, almost every lot has a no trespasing sign, we just part right on the street now. the cops are ok, just doing their job. i expect to get a significant ticket some day. i go out almost every week.
when i do get a ticket i will get a lawyer and see how much he can get it reduced, then decide if i want to continue street racing. i feel i am prety safe about it, 1/4 mile runs only on secure streets with lots of run off and no side roads.

since then i have pulled out all of my 02's and been driving it for awhile. if i am pushing it hard i just make sure the maf isn't maxing before 5200rpm. when i decide to push it harder i will need to put the wideband back in and adjust my fueling at a lower rpm. at lower boost and close cut out it runs rich but that is ok, still pulls hard. i probably see as rich as 10.8-1 at times.
not sure what route i will go for tuning in the future, so far this method has worked well but a more acurate working maf set up or speed density set up would be nice.

the ve tables aren't doing much, i am adding fuel based only on rpm after 5200rpm. the pcm can't see boost at all so there is no way for it to calculate fueling once the maf is maxed.
i forgot, i did have some problems and had to do some work on the VE table, seth at cmotorsports told me how to let efilive learn the table and then enter those numbers into edit. that fixed up the last of the tuning and i have just been driving it every since. dont even drag my lap top around or anything. it is great to be able to just hop in and go.

Let's hear the scoop on the VE stuff. They had a HUUUGGGEE very in depth thread about it in the PCM section, but I didn't read it and could hardly understand what some of them were saying.

i dont claim to under stand it. i was geting some odd lean or rich conditions at times, lean at wot sometimes. seth said it was the ve table. aparently if the calculated air flow and the actual measured air flow are very far off it will confuse things.
the fix was to get the correct numbers in the ve table so the calculated air flow was close to the actual. he told me how to set up efilive so it can learn the values for you. you just have to drive around and it will fill in a table for you. i did that, then smoothed the numbers a little and entered them and now it runs better. no more odd fueling at all. i think this was mostly caused by my cam but the turbo probably did it too.
here was the big problem, if it decided to use the ve table at the wrong time instead of the actual air flow from the maf i would be in trouble. the ve table has no way of knowing about boost. it would go way rich at cruze and then go way lean at wot. that proplem is fixed now.
i have driven the truck alot, like 1000+miles in the last few weeks with no lap top hooked up, in open loop all the time with no 02's and running as much at 14psi and a 100shto at times. a mix of 118leaded and pump gas all the time too.
