GMT800 Door lock pawl Avalanche LTZ and similar
2008 Avalanche LTZ 6.0 4wd. Long story short, bought with hard P0301 misfire and 224k cheap after it sat for 2 years. Could not get unlocked since battery was dead using key. GM says need to purchase entire lock cylinder to get #9 (RED PAWL) part that is the driver's front lock pawl that attaches to lock rod. Strattec Pt# 693090 is available for about $4.00 plus s/h from several vendors. Modifying part store pawl for fitment in lieu of wait time. Any insight for replacement appreciated.
