I have 3 GMT400s - 2 are projects and one a good strong runner. I don't really drive the runner except for occasional "grocery getting". Nostalgia is for sure why I keep them and work on them.

I have 2 GMT800s and they are both daily drivers. They are better all around than the GMT400s. They seem a bit more refined and to me they have better motors. They are easy to work on still - bit more electronics but still simple.
For an all around do it all truck the GMT800 is great.

Thx, it's actually a gigantic shitpile but I think it'll be OK I drove outta town to go look at the truck and it was way worse than the guy described it (isn't that always the way?) I offered him a whole lot less than he was asking and he accepted but I still feel like I paid too much. '93 with the 454 and NV4500, pw/pl/tilt/cruise, first thing I had to do was new tires because the old ones were ready to crack open. Dropped it with Belltech stuff. Still need to fix the A/C and of course the NV4500 grinds the 1-2 shift so I'm double clutching until I can stomach paying my transmission guy to tear into it. It's tagged and everything, totally driveable, other than it's just stupid hot without A/C. I have done a thread full of pics, ongoing, over on gmt400 dot com

LOL. I was going to ask the same thing... @someotherguy
How much you think you will sell it for?

The Intimidator is the same as the Silverado SS, right?

Mostly, yes. One year only (2006) they took 933 SS's and did some special trim. Truck comes in black only, the grille and brake duct inserts are silver instead of black, it's got a 3 piece wing on the back, Intimidator script emblems on body next to the SS emblems, headrests got the DEI logo, and gauge cluster has Dale's signature image. Oh and the "SS" dash insert also says Intimidator.

It'll be up for sale.. not sure when, but I'm thinking pretty soon. It's been my daily for pretty much all of 8 years now. The closer my '93 gets to DD status the closer the Intimidator gets to "for sale" - playing Chinese fire drill with 4 vehicles every time I need to get one in/out of the garage, and paying insurance on all of 'em, gets old..

What will I sell it for? Tough question. It's a really solid truck but does need a few minor details. The miles are creeping up as it gets driven a lot.
