Default GM New Car Discounts

I heard on the radio today that since GM lost so much money in the 1st quarter that they were going to start selling all the cars for GM employee cost. All of them except the corvette will be sold for that. Suppose to start this week sometime. Anybody else heard this? Also how much do GM employee's get off sticker price?

I bought my truck on a employee purchase plane. I think it was either a GM1 or a GM0 plan. If GM does start selling them at a purchase plan price it would be the GMS plan. And if I remember right thats a few hundred over invoice. (GM1 and GM0 are both UNDER invoice)

Depending on the the truck/equipment mark up is 10-12%

Invoice is what the dealer pays for the truck theoretically. (Not including 'Hold back')

i bought mine under the GMS program, thx to father-in-law, stickered for $27 something and was ~$22 something with GMS discount. you can also cash in on any rebates that GM might have going on. they happened to have a $3500 rebate on '04s when i bought mine back this week last year.

Yup it should be GMS pricing. That's what employees get. GMS pricing is a % under invoive minus rebates.

Here is an example I got my buddy's 05 Silverado Crew Cab at GMS pricing that was stickered for 31K and he got it for 23k DRIVE OUT!!!!!!
