They look nice painted. If you hadn't noticed mine is painted Pewter. Friend of mine traded me when he got it with a used kit since it match the bottom of my truck. Cliff's bottle is also painted to match his Mach1. I think it adds a nice touch. Although I currently have an anodized blue 15lb NOS bottle in my truck that I kinda like the looks of too.

sad thing is, I know guys who turned old fire extinguishers into N2O bottles and left them this way, lol.

This could be beneficial if ever pulled over tho....

"no sir officer, thats not nitrous, that's my engine fire prevention system. Its there in case of fire in the engine compartment....besides, who would put nitrous on a truck? I use this for hauling logs and fertilizer."

I like the idea of color matching with the truck and adding the ghost flames, think it would look cool

I like a color that makes it very hard to see.

I think I'm going to have it in a big duffle(sp?) bag similar to the compucar setups. "Hey, its just my overnight bag behind the seat. Pay no attention to it."

Camo it, you know like hunting camoflage. Then whenever someone askes you about nitrous or points to the bottle you can say you don't see anything. Or airbush a rocket engine on it and call it LSF-15....where's that picture at?
