Default The gas mileage thread.

I have a 99 6.0 4.10 gears with some headers, cold air, mild cam, and full flowmaster pipes.

I get 12.5 in town and about 14-15 on the highway. I think it should be better than that.

What do you guys get??

You need a turbo, mine helped my mileage about 1.5mpg. <--great excuse

With my new motor, cam, tuned for my old setup I still got 18mpg on the highway over the weekend.

I've got the power, my next goal is to get better mileage.

BTW that is on 20's with 285s. They are pretty wide tires, and the wheel and tire weigh 82lbs ea.

With not much, I manage 21 on the highway......think a turbo would help that even more? usually 12-14 in town, depending on how abusive I am feeling.

I doubt it will get much better than that. My dads 04 2500 CC with the 6.0 gets the same mileage.
