gas blocker?

what is preventing my truck from taking in the gas to fill up with out backing up . when i put gas in it wont accept the gas i have to go very slow at pumping???

Something in your EVAP system is not allowing the air/fumes inside the tank to escape when you pump a liquid into it. Charcoal canister comes to mind, or the evap vent valve.
