G Force?
#1
Hey guys, I've been talking to Erik over at HK Enterprises over hear in Houston about beefing up my motor once I get my Project Truck, he suggested G Force for the motor pull & reinstall since I can't do it myself. This isn't the same G Force these guys are talking about is it? I believe this G Force is out of PA not TX?

http://www.gforce-tx.com/ they are a sponsor on tech.
They somewhat tuned my truck when I first put the motor in but I wasn't extremely happy with the way they did it.
What kind of build are you looking to do and power levels are you looking to achieve? Many on this site including myself and Tootall do this kind of thing to help people out.

My plan is off the bat add FI, Cam, LT's, ORY or X Pipe, Magnaflows, and a Wheatly Tune to start. I been reading on this site for a few months now trying to learn as much as I can but I really don't know crap! I used to HELP work on my dads rides back in the day, but it was do this or that, I had no clue what I was doing though. I work with basic tools everyday & have a general understanding of mechanics but I have no Space, Tools, Lift, or Great Knowledge about working on vehicles. I am also contemplating on Pulling the 5.3 & sending it to HK Enterprises to put some good Internals & Beef it up a good bit. I would only use G Force for the Motor Pull & Reinstall & then have Wheatly do the Tune.BUUUUUTTTT.........I'm also considering something from HK Enterprises.....I seen that first LS Packack.....the 6.0L short block 408 I think for a lil under $4,000.......so I figure that as a consideration as well, I went by Paco's shop "Street Performance" I think on Spencer about a mile inside the Beltway.....they said about $500.00 for a Motor Swap. Not sure if that's a good price or not as seeing how I don't know crap.
Soooo Camaro Zach, you say you & Tootall help people do their stuff like that? Maan I would enjoy trying to learn some stuff, I work a weird schedule as I never really know when I'm gonna be off or have to go in to work. But when I'm free, if yall got somebodys Tranny or Motor, or anything really that needs taken out or putting in or fixing, I'd be down to put in some work & try to learn a thing or a 100. Then maybe yall could help out with me putting in mine or something? I would much rather know that the job was done right then finding out down the line very painfully & expensively.
