Cool, I just did the air-fuel filter, oil change, and fuel treatment this weekend to try and get a few more miles outta my GMC! That's pretty good mileage, I think the best I've ever gotten was 22 on my 4.8.

OH yea. i have a 2000 ECSB silverado, 5.3, 3.42, G80, Lund Seal & Peal bed cover, K&N intake,Hypercrapper, 255/70/16, stock rims, premium gas. we got back yesterday from taking some food and water and supplies to Laurel, MS acctually Tuckers Crossing, MS. about 100miles from my house. i pulled a 12' trailer loaded, and the bed of my truck was full of MRE's and water. i dont have a clue of the weight but it sat my truck down alot in the back and the trailer had a 500lb tool box, ladders, generator and more electrical supllies. and i got 17mpg. and it would down shift to 2nd and sit at 4500 rpms for a while, goin up some of them hills on HWY 49. not to shabby??
