Default fuel cooler

some guy at the parts store was telling me that he used a stock tranny cooler off of a truck like mine and used it as a fuel cooler, has anyone else ever heard of this? i think he was full of it.

Well, he's not full of it. The tranny cooler reference may be excessive size wise, but there are many fuel coolers available that are a smaller version of the "fin" style tranny coolers.

I had a "cool can" on my old mustang. I would pack it full of dry ice from the ice cream shop before going to the track. Didn't really do anything E.T. wise but the theory is there.

Its a waste to cool your fuel. No effects will be seen.
