frame replacement

Rockers and cab corners are only common, if you are getting enough rust, to rust out the frame. That might be common in your area, but not down south. You should be able to get a decent no rust roller down south for about $2K for a reg cab, and about $1k-1500 for a no rust, running ext cab (1500 or 2500).

Your call, but that means two vehicles, and swapping small projects when its convenient, or doing your 6.0 and 4L80 with no down time.

I got the truck from Michigan, it has cab corner ad rocker covers that I need to take off and repair both those spots the correct way. I only need to put a 6.0 in it after I do the frame swap to have a full 2500hd, and have my uncle's truck drive while I work on it. it shouldn't take me more than 2-3 weeks to do the full swap. I have also found plenty of rollers for 1000-1500
