I still see my old 96 Battle Truck running around...............still miss it.

 

House payment, 3 kids keeps me rolling money into mine to keep it on the road. At least you know what you have. I'll drive mine till the wheels fall off....then get new wheels ;-)

 

I've seen that truck on CL a few times. I like it.

Made me think about my old 97. I wish I would have kept mine and gave it to my youngest boy when he started driving....I still say it towed better than the truck I have now...but getting stuck in the snow that one time with the old one makes me forget....at least a little.

I was tempted to try and by back my old 02 when I saw it up on your lift. Man I loved that truck

 

Yea that color brought a tear to my eye too Now you just need some carpet on the dash, and your last name on the rear windshield.

I sold my first OBS to a buddy of mine as well. '89 scsb silvy, swapped stock 350, turbo 350, 3.73's, yadda yadda... Wasn't that fast, but I loved it.

To this day, he still has it. I haven't talked to him in over a year, but I have told him several times over the years: "If you ever plan to sell this truck, be sure to get in contact with me in any way, shape, or form."

My biggest regret ever. I never loved 13mpg as much as that truck.
