What's that look like?

 

I just had my Yukon's dash apart today, thought I'd show you where that clip came from. It's not plastic welded on, so you should be able to reinstall it. It holds the dash front corner in place. Couple pics for ya.

 

Holy **** how did that thing come off and get to my fuse box!? I REALLY don't wanna pull apart any interior, especially the dash!

 

It's really easy to pull the dash cover off. You'll need a phillips screwdriver, a 7mm nutwrench, and about 30 minutes(start to finish).

Well, it's already put back together, but I'll give you the quick rundown.

1) Remove both A-pillar moldings by pulling the tops straight out(when sitting in the front seats).

2) Remove the instrument cluster bezel(I think everybody knows how to do this one).

3) Remove both passenger side dash-vent deflectors(gently pry them out with a wide screwdriver or your fingertips).

4) With a flashlight, look upwards into the holes where the dash vents used to be. You will see the retainers for the passenger's "oh-****" handle above the passenger's airbag. Pinch the clips to release the handle, pull it straight out of the dash.

5) Remove driver's side fuse panel cover from dash, and passenger's side cover also.

6) Remove 2 phillips screws from each side of the dash, phillips screws found where the air deflectors were, and remove the 7mm screws going around the cluster and radio.

7) Pull the front edge of the dash straight towards you, with a little force, and it will come out of the front clips. Lift the front edge straight up about 6 inches, reach into the center of the dash & unplug the sun-load sensor.

8) Remove the dash cover from the vehicle.

9) Enjoy a cold beverage.
