Based on the Super Duty F-350 platform, the Tsunami is SVT's latest and most outrageous offering yet. But don't dismiss this pretty contractor vehicle as an overweight marketing toy. This truck means serious business and benefits from all of SVT's usual enhancements. Motivated by the familiar 6.8L Triton® SOHC SEFI 30-valve V10 engine, SVT promotes additional thrust with the help of an intercooled supercharger and tuned exhaust. This powerplant, also slated for use in the next generation Lightning, is more than adequate for propelling Ford's largest and heaviest weapon.
Check it out it also says that will be in the next lightning. Not a ford fan but that is gonna be one hell of a truck.
hmm hold on I missed the post above so the picture is fake or thw whole scheme is fake?

You know what pisses me off about GM?....they don't even have to design anything. Just put the already available LS2 (or better yet the new LS6(7) in an already available RCSB with some better flowing exhaust and the 4L80e. That's a factory 400hp truck before modding even starts. I mean, just give us a place to start. Look at what some around here have done with these 285hp pigs! As popular as trucks are and as loyal as most GM buyers are it really is a kick in the nutz.

Politics man, politics. If it were up to the engineers, everybody would be driving 400hp, 35mpg vehicles.

"Here's what I'm thinking. LS* engines are best NA engines out there. Strength, power, fuel economy and aftermarket support all taken into consideration. Now I had to rub one out when I saw all the specs/pics of that Cobra, but still a $40K price tag is way out of reach for most people including myself. Why doesn't GM take a 400+hp version of this great engine and drop into something affordable? A car or a reg cab truck whatever, it'll fly. I'm talking less than $30K and get into competition with that Mustang GT and quick. Because the reality is that it is the cheaper cars that you really run into on the street. I mean I can go weeks without even seeing a Z06 on the road. When they start asking $70K, I'm sure I'll see them even less. It just seems like GM is trying to appeal more to the elite with their performance models. Once they discontinued the Camaro/Firebird, they just opened the door for Ford to come in and dominate. Now before I get off on a rant here..."
