Looks mean but that thin is gonna weigh a ton. Well actually about 3 tons with the F-350 frame. We'll see how my lil 6 banger holds up to those now. Dammit Chevy I need some help here, it's getting really hard to hold these trucks off these days

I think that thing is fugly! I've never liked the looks of the Pooper-Duty. I think its a rip off of Dodge's initial 94' offering and both of them look like little wannabe semi's.
I think those wheels need to go too. And with the recent tsunami disaster I think that name is totally tasteless! Plus its a rip off of the sy-ty nameplate.

I would like to watch all the timing that's going to be pulled out of that thing when you actually go to use it as an F-350. There's no way that thing has the standard tow rating like they make it sound. The truck is waaay too heavy to hang with the srt-10. I'd rather have a Diesel F-350 and do the usual mods to it and run circles around it.
The most interesting thing about it is the fact that engine will be in the next L. Now that will be cool.

I thought I heard the V-10, 6.8L Triton was a dog? I figured they would of used the DOHC 5.4l.

I spent less $$$, got more power, get better mileage and my truck is quicker in the 1/4 mile.

Really?? Those Duramax's are expensive and I can only guess as to how much you have invested with tuners, larger turbo, etc. Id be very interested to see a little breakdown. I know nothing about diesels.

Oh come on, they shouldnt change it because of that. I dont particularly care for the name but i dont see how it is tasteless or insensitive in anyway. If thats the case, Ford needs to rename the lightning too, since people have been struck and killed by lightning. Or other car names which have natural disaster names. Like mentioned already, the Sy or Ty. Or what about the avalanche, im sure people have died in those too.

Good point. I think a turbo diesel would be more suitable, but at least they are trying.
