Yes, indeed they'll come off. In what condition is the operative word. At least u have a backup plan( new caps). If careful w/ your prying device, you may not even damage old caps at all. Could try a rag or tape on pry bar so no scratches. Might not even break those 3 fragile tabs off. Let's see the before/ after pics too.

IIRC, I believe that was how I did it. It's only been bout 7 yrs I last did this.

Getting there. Got the new caps, primed and wet sanded. Should get them painted and cleared tomorrow.

Really nice ABS smooth caps.

Really becoming a photo post *****. I really dig painting things. Still can't keep small dust out of things.... oh well, they'll do. Let them dry overnight, wet sand and buff tomorrow.

Its tied to one of the molded snaps that I'm going to break getting the stockers off. Dark Carmine Red Metallic baby!

I should get triple post count for ones with pictures. Its harder to do!
