flushing the radiator

Default flushing the radiator

Has anyone here flushed thier radiator yet? I have never done it and i'm at 125k miles now and figured i should get it done. anyways what do i need to buy to flush it and i guess what do i do? thanks for the help

I haven't done it on my truck yet either (comming up on 67K miles)

but I did it on a few other cars.. I'm assuming its nothing more then opening the drain valve at the bottom of the radiator and then filling it back up.. about 10 minutes worth of work..

i do the poor mans way of flushing. stick hose in the rad or in our case the resivor. and open the pitcock. and let it run for about 20 minutes turning on the heater so all old coolant is gone. i usually do it to i see nothing but clear water. then i let it all drain out then fill it up with the proper mix
