Default First race in the VHO

I lost but in some ways I won.

It was the origional style 4.6 stang GT's sohc. It has some mods but am not sure what. Intake, ext, big brake package. He is a co-worker of mine be we never talk. We were at a light today after work. It turns green and we both gun it. It is a dead even race up until I shift to third. So what is that like 80mph. I shift into third and we just keep going. By the time we stop he had 3 or 4 cars on me. I was real impressed in the truck. I could have had this guy with another 30hp or so. In races that close you can really tell what is going on. I think this guy has some HP problems in the lower RPM's. And my truck needs to shift at 6K not 5.4K. That pissed me off. Now if only I could get the guy with the Orange Hemi GTX to come out and play (another co-worker). Or the guy with the Hemi ECSB who always wears his hemi T-Shirts. I swear he has like 5 of them.

Get a few mods and suprise him next time. Some long tube headers and a stall would do the job.

Funny thing about the guy in the stang is that he used to run and hide when I had my TA. My TA was one of the mean looking ones. 315's out back with a lopey cam screaming through an open off-road exhaust. We would always get to and leave work at the same time. One time he was behind me a ways when I slowed to around 35 on a busy HWY. He kept his distance for about 2 miles traveling 35 the entire way. Yea, he waits until I get a big truck. Little did he know.

Get an intake, exhaust, tune, and stall then go race him. He is going to **** in his pants when you launch off the line and keep pulling from him.
