I would do a 4.005" bore if you plan on an 88. Youll like the added strength vs the 4.030" of the 408 more than youll miss the 6 cubes.

I'm starting with a stock bore ly6 and once that has had enough ill drop in the 408 if i don't sell it before the ly6 gives up. Aiming for a street truck more than a track truck but we will see.
