finally took my truck to get the 3.73, auburn, and final tuned.

How much different is the truck gonna feel with the 3.73 compared to the 2.73 peg leg?


Also, what kind of 1/8 miles times would you guys expect my truck to run: 1981 c10 with 5.3/4l60e

I would like it to run maybe 8.8x-9.0 in the 1/8, am I hoping for too much?

 

My guess(not worth to much) would be low 9's. Yah you will notice a little diff in the 3.73. I went with 4.10's. The posi will help alot to.

 

a huge gear change like that you will definitely feel. i think you'll be happy with it.
