that is prety optimistic and the tracks last day is saturday. i would be REAL happy with a mid 11 on the stock 6.0

Yeah, its BS. Did you notice it has been edited today? How ironic. 10:45 Easter time, to be exact. hehehe

LS6 heads, even ported will be the wrong heads for boost since they would raise compression. Saying the 345 HP 6 liter means its 10:1 compression stock, also anti-boost. Hughes converter....Who uses on of those?

Just if anybody was reading this...smaller combustion chambers are good for boost. You want to make less compression by taking it out of the piston (i.e. big dish) it looses rotating mass this way and it gives a much better flame front for combustion.
However, if you don't go to boost pistons you are correct, the LS6 heads would only raise the compression ratio and would not be optimal for boost.

Fine. But why start the project with an LQ9 motor whose main benefit is higher compression pistons, if you are just going to pull them out? Doesn't make sense.
