I was wanting some of ya'lls opinions on installing a 92mm combo(TB & intake) on my truck. I was going to do the 90/90 combo but this months CHP mag had the new fast "big mouth" in there. I was just wanting some opinions and comments.

That may help, it may not over the regular 90/90.... I probably wouldn't spend the extra on it unless you plan on using it later on something with more cubes so you can take full advantage of all the added air.

the difference between the 90 and 92 isnt much at all. its really was about the opening of the mouth and better screw inserts. so think of a 90 with 2mm larger opening.

as for the intake. from i been seeing its worth it on a stock motor. vengence took a 05 z06 that was stock minus exhaust and air intake. dynoed it and then dynoed it after they installed the intake same day. the car picked up 29rwhp....this was a gain a stock motor!!! car didnt lose anything anywere in the power band. it can be searched on tech in the dyno section a few months ago

 

fast 92 replaced the fast 90mm....its just a marketing gimic. its basically the same exact intake manifold with a bigger opening. all other deminsions behind the throttle body opening are the same as the fast 90mm.

as for it being worth it....i have absolutely no clue.
