F-THIS!!! Interior rattle experts come in here!!! I can't take it anymore

My 99 Sierra had a real bad rattle where the dash and front a-pillar met. I took some thick double sided tape at the joint and never heard it again. On my 04 crew cab, I've got a rattle coming from the passenger side rear door speaker. I've tried adjusting it several times and works for a while, but comes back, and then another one somewhere around the steering column, still haven't diagnosed that one yet.
I was driving to work this morning and entering the freeway, jumped on it to get up to speed and the damn hood un-latched on me. Luckily it caught where you have to physically go un-pop it, but still scared the hell outta me. I had the hood up last night so hopefully maybe I just didn't get it all closed real tight, but I did notice that it seemed like the hand latch felt a little wobbly. I'm gonna check my girlfriends sierra hood latch tonight to see if its the same.

Well, I drove to work this morning after going through everything last night and it appears the squeaking has stopped. But I'm not going to hex myself and say it's gone. I will drive it for a week and see if it reappears. What I did last night is I sprayed white lithium grease on all the door hinges (both sides) door latches, then popped the hook and lubed all 3 points on each hinge of the hood and also the hood latch. I also took some tension off the hood the turned each rubber bumper down 1 full turn. It appears to have gone away. Right now everything as far as CD's and jack and anything else I had in the truck with me is gutted out right now. We'll see how it goes in another week here.
Thanks for all the ideas, I'll update ya'll in a week

I put it on a week after getting the truck. It was quiet after installing it though. Good news update however, it's been a few days and I haven't heard a peep out of anything since greasing the hinges. It's got another week yet before passing my test

TEST FAILED!!!!!!!!!!!! This morning on the way to work this thing started squeeking like a mother again!! I've just about had it. I am going to rip the pass side kick panel off today and see if I cannot find anything in there that's squeaking or if the kick panel itself is squeaking. Also, the pass side windsheild pillar cover is coming off too. I'll report if I can find anything. I just am hesistant to take it into the dealer because I don't think they're going to fix it and it's going to be a complete waste of my time.
