Default F@*& A$$ S#$& !!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's Tuesday. Made a call, only to find out tranny still isn't headed my way. Paid for two weeks ago. For future reference, never send full payment to a shop! Seems like even the best shops will drag their feet when they already have the money! The motor and other parts are collecting dust. Thunder is getting closer everyday, and I'm still in the freakin 16s. What to do....what to do.... I need to find someone smaller than me and take their freakin lunch money. That would make me feel better!

Did you pay with a CC? 2 weeks ... I think it's about time to start doing something about it. I would be getting worried.

Tempting, very tempting.... I made a few calls today, so maybe I got the freaking ball rolling. The truck is going in the shop Saturday, so at least the motor/bolt ons/tune/exhaust work will be done and waiting for the tranny to arrive. I was absolutely assured it would arrive Monday, so if everything else is done and waiting, the timing might just pan out. I really hope it does, because I really don't want to drive the truck home with the stock tranny and then have to drive it 2hrs back to where the work is getting done. The stock tranny most likely won't make it with 0 torque management. I've already gotten the tune for the built tranny. I won't bad mouth anybody yet, but this has really slowed down the swap process, and I'm going to miss some great street action this weekend. Our local town has an Octoberfest car/truck show that always brings in some local trucks/rice, and we always hit the streets when it's over. Looks like I won't be hitting sh$t this weekend.

I'd still do everything else. You can slide the tranny in from the bottom.Might as well see what that tranny will hold. I've got 100,000+ and 2-300 drag races on mine. But I haven't changrd my TQ management.I guess that's about all I haven't changed. On second thought that might trash you new converter.
I think the NMCA championships are at Motorsports this weekend. 6 sec. 200mph street cars..WOW
Good luck with it. Jim

I'm going to call Terry and see about getting it up there Saturday. If that slides, then he can get started and I'll just bring him the tranny Monday so he can put it in. I'll need to get in touch with you so you can talk to your friend that has the exhaust shop up there. I would like to have it set up to where I can just leave Terry's shop and drive to the exhaust place and get my exhaust work done, then drive that sucker home and put some break in miles on it.

Slowprocess, if it's a site sponser there may be something we can get the admins to do. PM me with some details and I'll see what we can do.
