Something is fishy here. Go to court and fight it. From what I understand if he doesn't show they dismiss the tickets. I would like to think the community has greater needs for him to care for than traffic enforcement below a freeway underpass.

 

Be prepared incase he is a nobody and doesn't have anything better to do though.

 

You are most likely going to have to pay for the seatbelt ticket. The insurance you can get dismissed. Just take defensive driving for the speeding ticket. I did, they give you 90 days and I did it on the last day online. You just cant take defensive driving again for a year after that. Im almost there

 

I would fit this one ... the guy is obviously tripping, and anyone with any sense should be able to see that in a courtroom .. if he even shows up.

Statistically ... 60% of all speeding tickets challenged are dropped.

 

I"m just going to let a lawyer take care of it. I was speeding so Im guilty of that and it being my 1st offense, I rather let a lawyer make sure it doesnt go on my record and screw up my perfect driving record.

he's an ******* because he never was running his radar, he heard my loud *** truck coming down the feeder road and ran across 2 lanes of traffic to stop me. He said "I....uh got you at about uh 72" wtf is that?
Then giving me a no insurance ticket when I handed it to him?

In my opinion, wearing your seatbelt shouldn't be law. It's your choice to do so. Just another way to get money.

 

Traffic fines are setup for the sole purpose of revenue .... the City of Austin has 'customer service' reps for the 800 number to the courthouse setup for fines and court dates and such.

Demon ... he took his seatbelt off to get his wallet out, he mentioned that in a previous post, he also said he was doing 60 .. not 72. So .. that would make him an ******* in my book.
