When I filled up the other night I got fuel dumping from under the truck. Its the Evap Vent Valve Solenoid where fuel is coming out. I am also loosing fuel pressure when I shut the truck off. It goes from 60psi to about 35psi in one minute. Are they related? I also got a check engine light for EVAP Leak when the truck dumped gas.
Is it worth putting on the new kit from GM or just buying another Evap Vent Valve Solenoid since they seem alot cheaper than the new part number.

 

ditch it...i got rid of my evap crap a long time ago. it's the cheapest/easiest route.

it's emmissions crap. it's an easy mod. pull it off, vent it and tune out the error code.

 

Whats making it puke gas out when you fill the tank full?
