so what about the mileage on my truck? so people say it wont show up and it have to be reprogrammed.

Mileage is stored in the cluster. You can either have the cluster programmed with the correct mileage or put a sticker on your door jam with the base mileage.

If you dont do either its odometer fraud which is a big no-no.

yup... my 2000 DD just turned 16,000 miles, hehe

Actual mileage is stored on the trucks computer somewhere, so I've been told.
I have no plans of selling my truck anyhow, just need to figure out how to drop an LS2 in there!

from what ive read on here, it is not stored on the computer, just the cluster..

does anyone happen to have one of these they want to sell????? The clear lense broke completely off mine. Or wonder what this cost at the dealer, Im scared to call and find out the $$

On full size trucks the mileage is only kept in the cluster and no where else.

The mileage in the Colorado and Canyon is kept in the BCM.

where can you get these at a good price and is it plug and play since it has a trans temp gauge.

I found mine on e-bay. I usually see them there, and sometimes on CL.
