Not saying that is the problem, but it's a possibility.
Did you also try starting it in different gear selections?
If there is no read out in the dash for the gear indicator, seems like something is definately wrong. There doesn't seem to be any power coming from the ignition being switched on. Does anything chime in the truck when the ignition is switched on?
Is it possible that the PCM was shorted out?
I'm thinking either PCM or BCM if all fuses are still good. Both are expensive and the BCM module would have to be reprogramed if you buy a new one or used one.
Double check all the wiring. Make sure the engine ground wire was attached as well. (A big forgetter here)

Found the problem to be a pinched PCM ground wire between the tranny and the block..
