Default engine light ?
engine light is on had the local parts store scan it they said a evap leak they said it could be a loose gas cap or whats ever i tightened the cap and still the code what else could it be

What is the code number though.

Can't help you much without it.

Did they even clear the code for you? Because just snugging down the gas cap won't make it turn off.

Evap purge. either on the engine or under the truck.
