elec to wire throttle body conversion ???

Default elec to wire throttle body conversion ???

can this be done ??? because my friends sierra really sucks *** with the elec throttle, it doesnt take off very quick. can a conversion be done to make it wire driven ? and how ? thankz

never heard of somone doign that... i have a 06 silverado that is electronic TB and i have no problems.. maybe he needs to get something checked out.... my throttle is instant.. oh well.

Does your friend have a custom tune? If not, then its probably just the Torque Management kicking in and causing the lag feeling.
As soon as I removed TM on my truck it feels just as responsive as my 99' did.

Yes it has been done, can be. I am not totally sure how to ,but think he needs a retune to turn off a certain program in the pcm to make it work, yah the electric sucks fosho

yeah, cuz it keeps the rpms steady until it has enough traction.. so i will let him know that he needs to get it tuned, remove the torque management cuz its crappy. im glad my 01 is drive by wire !!!
