Just because HIS doesn't make noise doesn't mean he's lying.
My driverside doesn't make noise but the passenger side does. That said the previous owner also tore all the stripping off on the passenger side and then used the replacment stripping you get at the auto store. That thin crap that sticks on. It doesn't hardly touch the window. Gonna cost $200+ to fix it.

Mine did it all the time at highway speeds. 55-70. Worse when there were cross winds. Mostly from the passenger side. I'd say to most they might not even notice it. Just a little radio volume and you wouldn't hear it. I had even become used to it but a few weeks back I took a ride in a newer NBS and it was dead quite and this got me to noticing it. I've not driven yet in any crosswinds but in the situation where I would have a little wind noise it was quite.

WoW! They work!

As time passed they went from making noise when the AC was not on Recirculate. Then it would not matter what setting they would flutter. Also it used to take more than 80mph to generate the noise (air flow escaping the cab) and then it progressed to 65mph and up.

I put the new lever links on and really could not see any physical difference but now the windows are dead silent at any AC vent setting.

Thanks KySilverado for the tip!!!!!!!!!!

i have never even listened to try to figure out where my wind noise is coming from, i know it is there i just thought it was from the rain guard things on the front windows. i mainly listen to the truck in case i hear any weird noises

Gonna have to let my local body shop know about those when I get mine fixed. I bet they get people all the time complaining about it.

I rode back there while the now x-wife drove. I found if I pulled in very gently on the latch it stopped. And I mean VERY gently. I couldn't feel it coming in so I held a small piece of tissue and it pulled towards the seal.

I am kind of **** about unnecessary noise in the truck because I work in a loud environment wearing ear plugs. On the way home I don't want radio, wind, or any unnecessary noise and the fluttering rears were a pain. I have spoken the GM name in vain many-a-time.
