Default driveability of hi-hp setups

i was lookin around on tech and this thread caught my eye,

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=623103

it really got me to thinkin

do most of yall think this applies to the 2wd trucks power wise or not

personally, i have ever been in anything REALLY fast
the fastest ive been in (feeling wise) is a 96 honda hatchback w/DOHC 160hp motor swap and 5-speed in a approx. 1600lb. car(9.0sec. 1/8mile) and it felt pretty fast to me when i was 16 (18 now)
ive also been in 04 lb7 duramax, 02 4.8 rcsb, 99 4.3 rcsb, 87 305 TBI rclb, and thats about it and none of them were even close to the feeling of speed in the honda, the 4.8 is prolly fastest been in besides

yea i dont get to be in fast cars that often

I think it applies to trucks just as much. 2wd trucks just have the issue of no weight over the rear end (4wd or AWD )The fastest I have driven would be between a 00 Viper GTS or a 01 Camaro SS. The SS was a 10 second car, sounded like a war zone when it started up. High horsepower is very driveable, you just have to get used to the feel.
