I am going to have to go out and buy a hex key for my drain and fill plugs on my 1995 chevy 1500 5 speed manual trans. Does anyone know what size they are (they are pretty big - larger than 1/2 inch i think) and the guys at the auto parts store could not look up the size.

Anyone know?

17mm allen wrench, about 6-7 bucks at oreilly's but its got to be ordered, i can get you the part number when i go in later on today

 

jiffy lube will replace them for 6 bucks.
