lol from first hand experience....in Iowa...once you get our license your on a restrictions with the 6 months range..and if you get a ticket EVEN 5 over you have a meeting with a d.o.t officer to disuse if u should keep em' or loose em' then your on a sorta speak probation for another 6months n if u get another ticket EVEN 5 over you loose it, i lost mine for 3months the first time, n each time cost more n takes em longer...i've lost em 3 times, and after that, the judge told me after the 3rd if i loose em again i wont get em back for another 6 years...thats my experience tho...in iowa lol

Check your state law.
In Washington State:
(1) On the first such conviction or finding the department shall mail the parent or guardian of the person a letter warning the person of the provisions of this section;
(2) On the second such conviction or finding, the department shall suspend the person's intermediate driver's license for a period of six months or until the person reaches eighteen years of age, whichever occurs first, and mail the parent or guardian of the person a notification of the suspension;
(3) On the third such conviction or finding, the department shall suspend the person's intermediate driver's license until the person reaches eighteen years of age, and mail the parent or guardian of the person a notification of the suspension.

sounds about right to me. as previously stated the law varies by state. If you get a ticket with your learner's permit, you don't get your license till you turn 18 in Alabama.

It's different everywhere.
