DJM is known to be poor quality on some parts

I don't like the design of that flip at all. Your axle very well could be torquing those plates and bolts.

The Belltech design is much better IMO

Yeah they designed it so can adjust your pinion without using shims. Maybe they're not torqued enough or evenly? In one of the pics you can tell the bolt is bending the bracket

I threw away a new djm flip kit because i wouldnt want anyone else installing it on their truck. Djm has some nice parts, theit flip kit is not one of them...

If you have a welder, order new perches from calvert, set your pinion angle and weld them down.

Agreed with the others saying the DJM flip kit is junk. Buddy of mine put one on a GMT400 and I wasn't impressed, and have seen others also mentioning problems with the "adjustable" design of it not being able to hold its adjustment.

Didn't see you answer the question as to whether you installed the carrier bearing spacer?

did you measure pinion angle with the bed on, or off?
