Yes, I used a torch on mine and it got the whole tube piping hot. I decided to take the dipstick out after that.

PS: The tube is also very bendable when hot. Pull straight out or not at all.

i got it out. i used "crc freeze-off".

If it's (more) bendable, that'd be the ticket around headers if that's an issue. If & whenever I put the new one in, I have to remember these tips.

I also thought of a Lokar, & route it how I want. I'm not really into bling, but I do have some subtle, tasteful things I'd like to incorporate if I dress up eng. bay a bit. Not a priority tho.
