Default Denali Tailgat Cap?

I have an 05 Silvera Bich Crew Cab 2500 hd. I recently saw a denali crew cab with a body colored tailgate cap sitting on the lot brand new so I know it hadn't been painted. I want one of these for my truck instead of the black one. Anyone know the correct part number for these so i can get one for my truck? Thanks!!

Default Tailgate cap

It is a factory piece, every single new deanli crew cab truck there in silver birch had the factory tailgate and bed rail caps in body color, all the other colors had black caps. I talked to a guy at the f body gathering in atlanta and he had a denali with the body colored caps also and he said it comes from the factory that way but only in silver birch. So if anyone knows the part # please let me know so i can get this piece

Just have yours painted. It's the same difference. Sorry, but I don't know the part number.

Default tailgate cap

No I promise you it is a GM part, it is identical in appearance and is on every new denali crew cab short bed that is silver birch metallic. They have side rail caps in the body color also and I assure you it isn't from stylin concepts. Go to a GMC dealer and look for yourself and you'll see what I mean. It looks so much cleaner than the black caps on the trucks that are different colors.

they may not come painted, you might want to check on that before you get excited. Just call the dealer to be sure.

even if it is a factory piece why pay to buy extra ones and then have them painted? It would be cheaper to just get yours painted.

Dale is a extremely knowledgable and honest person. If he says there were 20 trucks with those painted pieces at the dealer. Then I'd put my money with him. While on the subject of painted pieces. Anyone need any painted door handles? Talk to Dale...
