One thing that I can say is that I probably wouldn't have helped the guy at all. Maybe I am just coldhearted like that. It would be a different story if I knew who you are and you needed my help because I would have stopped.
Sorry to hear about the truck man. Good thing that it was only paint and not anything major. $322 does sound kind of high, where are you getting your paint job at?
You learn from your mistakes. And the lesson learned is, "now you will get out and help push or just leave it be and call a tow truck, police or whoever else you need to get it out of the road."

I believe it what comes around goes around, and maybe one day if I ever get stalled out someone wont worry about their precious truck enough to help push me out of the way. My dad always told me to do what I could do to help out your fellow man, so that's what I did. The world isnt going to end because I have a few scratches on the bumper.
