If you've got the money to blow it would be nice! But personally, one could build a comparable motor with 100 more HP for half the cost.

There are certainly more cost-effective ways to go faster, the LS7 would be strictly for the factor.

A built 408 for half the cost would be niced but I wonder what kind of numbers a stroked 7.0L would put out.

Try and put titanium con rods and pushrods in your 408 and see how much more that adds to the cost Not to mention the fact you will have to spend money out the *** just to match the LS7 heads....

NOt 7grand worth

My 408 is goign to cost me 6 grand by the time it is all said and done and I am going to be making 50 more hp. They are cool but not worth the money.

Titanium pushrods are like 500 bucks con rods are 2 grand still come out 5 grand ahead.

A camshaft that doesn't have to idle like grandma's Cadillac would more than make up for the power of the titanium, con rods, pushrods, and intake vlvs.
