01thunder have you ever thought of puttin in some 4:10's??? they helped me get out of the whole and i am almost at 6400 going through the traps. what are the specs on that new cam??? if its a 224/224 then it looks like i am goin to have to step it up over the winter.

 

yeah I have thought seriously about it, but I think I am going to go with a higher stall first.
then if thats not enough I will look at gears.

FWIW, I have 4.10's in mine and I think they are to high. I'm at 2700 cruising at 78. I checked my mileage and I was only getting 10 in the city and 13 on the highway. If I'm back in the rear, I think a set of 3.90's are going in.

 

let me know if you do Flyer I may want those 4.10's...
I dont drive the truck much any more but out at the track anyways....

 

I'll keep ya in mind. I doubt I will do anything, but if I decide to drop the truck I'll have to do something to compensate for the lower profile tires.
