Just a curious question, How hard it would be to convert to power doors, windows, mirrors. I would switch out the door panels for the switches that i need but how hard would the other stuff be for a 99 silverado?

 

It's definitely been done...if I were to guess, I'd think you'd need window motor/reg assemblies, the mirrors, door lock actuators (probably part of the latch assemby), and possibly a new BCM (body control module), unless the BCM can be reprogrammed. (plus the door panels and bezels) I would think that the wiring should be there already, but I could be way off on that...hopefully someone who's done the conversion will chime in.

 

I saw somewhere that there's a company called, I think, a1electric.com that makes power window and door lock kits. It looked like a fairly straightforward install.
