To the OP. I didnt notice squat when I installed mine. Worth the money? Nah, wish I had done a drop in filter and spent the cai money elsewhere.

Keep in mind that they changed the MAFS in 09. It either fits 07-08, or 09+...

Negative; due to the nature of the M.I.T. (the factory MAF remains attached to the airbox, unlike a cold-air kit which replaces everything) the same kit is used on all GMT900 light-duty V8 pickups. I doublechecked just to make sure.

This list omits the 2011 model year, but any truck that it fits for 2010 also fits the 2011.

So the 08's had the MAF attached to the top portion of the stock air box too? I was looking at buying an intake and I couldn't use it because it was for an 07-08. Maybe I just need a picture to hit me in the head and set it right...

No...

Watch this, and pay particular attention to the title and where the Mass Air Flow Sensor is. Watch the whole thing...

‪K&N Intake for 2009-2011 Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Escalade, Yukon, Sierra‬‏ - YouTube

Also, note the difference between 07-08, and 09-11... The MAFS is not a stand alone tube. It is installed into the top of the stock airbox by two screws.

Agreed but it is never removed to install the Airaid MIT, other than to change the filter. It doesn't matter if it's screwed into the airbox lid or it's a stand alone unit. It never gets moved like it would with a full CAI.

I agree, there is no way that a complete CAI could not fit both the 07-08 and the 09-11 because of the differences in the MAF.
