anybody with 5.3 or 6.0 running any coils or wires other than stock ones.i've got one miss firing or something but not all tha time...changed the plugs and still have it every now and then...any suggestions...

 

alot of guys are running msd, or taylor plug wires. Not sure about the coil packs though. I know msd makes some for ls1/ls6 engines, but they are rather pricey, and not sure if or how they work with trucks.

 

i got mine off an 05 tahoe. the ones without the fins on the top. they are supposely better than the ones with the fins.

 

the msd coils do fit our trucks and the demand for them is unreal, summitracing cant keep up, your so post to be able get yours if you ordered some 7-30-05....

im gunna order 2 at a time cause they are 70 bucks a pop maybe 3 at a time i dunno, but im not gunna put them on tile i get them all and etc...

 

You sure it's not spark blow-out ??? What are you gapping them to ???
