Question Coil Packs 2001 LQ4

Trying to figure out what coils I have.

So I will know what the part number for the plug wires I need.

Please post the part number for the coils and for the plug wire set.

I've read the wire sets are different....meaning lenght ?

2001 HD 2500

6.0 LQ4

Coils are more or less square ( NO fins ).

The bracket that holds the coils has a part number 12569188 on it.

Thanks in advance !

I called the local dealer.

He said if the bracket that holds the coils has a part number 12569188 on it

you have the truck melco coils stamped with 12558693 and these use the

plug wires part number 88894394.

If the bracket that holds the coils has a part number 10457736 on it

you have the truck delphi coils stamped with 19005218 and these use the

plug wires part number 88894393.

If you have the coils 12558693 these use the longer wires about 11 1/2 in lenght +/- ....( these are the first design coils )

If you have the coils 19005218 these use the shorter wires about 9 3/4 in lenght +/- ....( these are the second design coils )
