No one at work knew that he raced the GTP, it was a week later when I found out. I approached the person that owns the GTP and he told me he won by a length and a half. He wasnt cocky at all about it and told no one. I am going to ask him tomorrow to open the hood.

Speaking of hiding stuff, who's to say he didn't take the Type R emblems off. I know I would if I were trying to be sneaky. Just look under the hood, or at least listen for the blower. If it is an S Type R, I would stay away, and if its an S Type R (Spec J) LMNOP......then I would run. JK.

If this guy wants to race you THAT BAD, then he should let you see under the hood and vice versa. Or at least look in the interior for switches and stuff. Was the GTP modified at all? There are some here that run mid 12's on street tires. I think they're 275hp stock.

The guy that I work with that owns the GTP I know is completly bone stock. Matter of fact he didnt know that you could replace smaller pullies to make more boost. On the back of the Jaguar it says type S it still has all of its badges and their is no "R" or anything of the sort on the car. He told me that he didnt even buy the car, the first story was that a college bought it for him to play sports, and the second story was that his parents own a business and they are rich? That is why I really dont believe him and what he says. I have heard the car and their is no sound of a blower whine coming from under the hood. I dont know is he was misinformed about the car he got or what, but if a stock GTP can beat it, you would figure a supercharged V8 would crush that GTP Pontiac. I dont know, I am going to ask him to raise the hood tonight and if he wont I am callin BS

The regular Type S have the chrome trim around the grill etc. The type R are all body matched. Unless he has some BIG bucks there is no way it is the type R. Ive only seen 2.

It does have all chrome pieces around the car. Also I have respect for all fast makes and models, matter of fact I got excited the other night when I saw a Porche Cayenne, driving along next to me. I wanted to run it, but when he pulled in front of he I saw that beautiful chrome TURBO emblem on the back of it. I was thinkin hell no I aint gonna mess with that I'll get my *** handed to me. Those SUV's are awesome.

I'm sorry I'd like to clarify my statement, sorry for the confusion, I don't want to sound like an ***. GTP's are 275hp stock F(ront)WD, which is high 14's around here. I was asking if it was modified, because I know there are two in town here (that ARE modified) that run mid 12's. A stock will not do that....duh!?!

Just whoop his ***, and shut him up!
