Cleaning under the Hood?!

Pressure wash it like everyone says and wipe it down. Stoners Trim and shine is the **** for the engine compartment. It leaves nothing greasy looking that what I like and it leaves everything looking like new. I use this stuff on everything even on tires it is good. I will never use armor all again!!

for shows i use aerosol tire wet. spray it on....it dries by itself...good way to clean all your loom and hoses instead of using a hand towel

I just installed my k&n gen II kit yesterday. engine wash procedure will remain the same. the k&n has a huge shroud around the outside so as long as I haven't been drinking I should be able to control the spray nozzle well enough to minimize any water getting to the filter. If I was really concerned I could always tape a garbage bag over the top of the shroud to protect the filter from water. Where there is a will there is a way and I like a clean engine.
