Default Cleaning inside of intake

Installing NNBS intake on my 06 Silverado. Inside of this sucker is oil soaked. I want to clean it good before I install it. Any tips or advice on best way to clean inside? Strip it and submerge in Dawn maybe?

Sounds like a good way to clean it to me. Dawn or purple power to get the oil out.

I use my hotsy... high pressure hot soap and water does wonders.

I cleaned my intake out with a typical dish soap mixture in water--nothing special. Just pull a soapy wash cloth or rag through the runners and that should clear it out well. You can improve your PCV system with a catch can to reduce further oiling when you get it all back together.
