Chevy vs dodge, which one?

one more thing
it really depends on the gear ratio of the Chevy
3.23s, haha, well you get the point, I know BigEd went from 3.23 - 3.73s and it made a nice difference!!
but i think the dodges come with 3.92s if it has the 20's
im not sure of their other gear option with the 17's?
But for me,, i will always have my ECSB.. most of the time its just me, but on the weekends we get a bunch of friends together, and instead of takin my friends QCSB Hemi Gas Guzzler, we Opt to take my lil weak chevy. 20mpg beats 14mpg anyday!!

I may be one of the few souls on here that would consider a HEMI rc. Hell, I almost got one back in 04, when they had a rcsb Black Sport with 20s on the lot. When it came down to it I had no idea how reliable the new motor or transmission would be, nor did I like the fact that everyone was getting 15 mpg out of them. I ended up getting this Chevy and am glad I did. I got the best deal out of it, got my favorite color and configuration, and get 20 mpg out of it. Now that the 06 Dodges have that horrible front end I'd never even drive by the dealership if I could avoid it. But, if I could drop a 6.1L into a rcsb Ram as a playtoy, I'd get a 03-05 in the dark blue color and enjoy that too
I prefer Chevys, but I can appreciate any car or truck if its cool, no matter the manufacturer.

All brand-bias aside here's my thoughts on it
Chevy
Pros:
Extremely large aftermarket for performance and looks
Higher max power potential
More reliable motor (Hemi's have serious crank and reluctor issues)
Cons:
HEAVY...GM's seem to be made of lead
No decent engine/wheelbase options
So-so styling
Fit/finish and squeek/rattle issues
Pricy.....maybe they're made out of gold instead of lead ??
Dodge:
Pros:
Roomy....definitely more room in the ECSB Ram than in the ECSB Silverado ('99-'06)
Styling..the Ram looks GOOD
Price
Cons:
The HEMI...they're problematic and prone to failure if spun too high
Gas mileage
Aftermarket support

Have you looked into stepping up into a single cab 2500? with the 6.0 and 4.10's? you have to get that in rclwb tho.
If you want a 6.0 in a rcsb the easiest and cheapest way is to buy a 4.8 and drop a 6.0 in it on your on time and pocket. 4.3 will be a little harder because it isnt the same wiring n all.
Chevy vs Dodge is up to you. Drive both, look at both, **** with salesmen, see which dealer you lik ebetter.
Stock for the stock the dodge feels like it is a little stronger but it really wont be.
