Chevy (or GMC) lean - come on in
#1
I wanted to gather some statistics about this to see if there are any conclusions that could be extrapolated from the results.
So, if you own or have owned a 99+ chevy, or gmc, that has "the lean" to it, please choose the correct selection above.
I am making an assumption that everyone's lean is the driver's side being lower - if this was not true, please create a post stating so.
If you have owned more than one type that had the lean, please choose both types.
If you do not have the lean, please do not vote and skew the results.
Thanks for your participation.

True. ive even heard of guys doing an offset drop in the front to compensate a 2/4,3/4 type deal dont know how much truth there is to that but the LEAN is there. my 01 had the lean the 04 isnt so noticable

My '03 1500HD has a 1" lean. I evened it out with the torsion bars on the front and with AOL bags on the rear. The right bag has near 0 psi in it and the left bag has around 20 psi to compensate. I really put the AOL bags on to keep the axle from banging on the frame after the 3/5 drop. They are doing both jobs nicely.

If it doesn't lean from the factory, it shouldn't after a drop either - unless something was performed incorrectly.
If you are curious, just go measure the fenderlip height at the axle centerline on each side.
