Default Chevy Equinox conversion to a 5.3??

Has anyone on here done it? if so, what are the steps.
My wife has a 06 Equinox and damn that thing is slow and can't seem to find any performance parts for it.

If no one has, does anyone know what the steps to do so would be or if it's even possible? If it is, can I keep the same transmission and some of its components?

Thanks in advance for the tips.

Nothing interchangeable prob not possible. Sell it and buy a LS equipped vehicle if this is a serious contemplation.

Enough time and money anything is possible the greater question is why waste either.

Pretty sure any turbo parts for one would have to be custom fabbed.... What about an entire LS4/fwd pullout from like an impala?????

But again probably way more trouble than it's worth.

Just spray that bitch!!

Does it have the 3.4 v6 or 4 banger???

If it the 3.4 you have plenty of options..There are cams, heads for the 60* sixer among other things

Is STS Turbo still in business? Seemed like a kit could be fabbed for just about any vehicle relatively simply.

Edit - it appears they are. Here is the link to the universal kit. Good luck!
